The Barn Door Open House

  • Karma Ranch Sanctuary Central Montana (Private Sanctuary — RSVP Required) (map)

Reconnect with the Land and Each Other

In a world of constant pings and glowing screens, we invite you to leave the devices behind and rediscover the rhythm of the High Plains. The Barn Door Open House is a special invitation for our neighbors in the Helena and Great Falls area to step inside our 250+ acre sanctuary and see the vision for a more sustainable, horse-centered future.

This isn’t just an event; it’s an invitation to unplug. We believe that the most profound connections happen when the world goes quiet, and we want to share that "Architecture of Stillness" with the people who call this region home.

What’s Happening at the Barn

Live Music & Local Flavor: Enjoy the sounds of local Montana talent with a live band performing throughout the afternoon while you enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks.

  • Get Off the Grid: Experience the "Silence of the High Plains" firsthand. We invite you to put your phones away and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Montana beauty around us.

  • The "Movement Here" Tour: Take a guided walk to see our progress on the Paddock Track System and our 14,000-tree reforestation sites.

  • Find Your Tribe: Meet fellow locals who share a passion for horse rescue and land stewardship. Learn how you can get your hands in the dirt and join our volunteer community.

  • Family-Friendly Presence: This is an all-ages event designed to be a sanctuary for the senses. Bring the family to learn about stewardship, harmony, and connection in a screen-free environment.

Building a Legacy of Stewardship

Karma Ranch is more than just a ranch; it’s a commitment to Ethical Land Management and Equine Sovereignty. Come find out how our off-grid blueprint and "multi-resource" solar infrastructure are setting a new standard for ranching in Montana. Whether you’re sharing a drink by the barn or chatting about our future residents, this is an afternoon dedicated to the kind of community bonds that only happen in person and in nature.

RSVP & Directions

To maintain the Silence of the High Plains and ensure a quality experience for all guests and our future herd, this is a ticketed (free) event.

Note: We are located in the beautiful expanse between Helena and Great Falls. To protect the privacy and peace of our sanctuary, exact location details will be sent to all registered attendees via email 48 hours before the event.
