As winter approaches in Montana, keeping feed dry and maintaining peace within the herd is critical. Noelle and her dad are preparing to build covered Hay Huts before the snow arrives to give our horses a dedicated, weather-protected space to eat outside of their main shelters.
Covered Hay Huts eliminate food aggression inside sleeping areas and ensure horses like Aurora, Astro, Jupiter, Kale, Luna, and Cosmos can eat comfortably in snow or rain.
We are seeking three Angel Donors to step up and fully sponsor a Hay Hut at $2,500 each. Your contribution directly covers the building materials and the extra local hands needed to assist Noelle and her dad with assembly:
Huts 1 & 2 (Immediate Need): Provide dedicated, weather-protected feeding stations for our two existing herd groups.
Hut 3 (Future Expansion): Prepares our quarantine pad for upcoming late-fall rescues—allowing us to safely introduce a rescued mama-and-foal pair or two weaned auction babies so Astro can finally grow up with friends his own age.
Note for our Sanctuary Family: This is an Angel Donor option created specifically for supporters who want to make a major structural impact. If this tier is out of your price range, please do not worry! You can help us lay the physical groundwork by sponsoring an 8ft 2x4 board for just $5. Every single contribution builds this sanctuary!
Important Note on Your Contribution: This is a symbolic sponsorship item to fund sanctuary construction supplies and local labor. No physical item will be shipped to your address. 100% of your $2,500 contribution goes directly toward building materials and hiring local build hands at Karma Ranch.
