The Aurora & Astro Pasture Fund: 16 Feet of Safety

$150.00

A Literal Lifeline: Build Astro's Safe Haven

As we prepare for our massive logistical relocation to our permanent sanctuary in Montana, our absolute number-one infrastructure priority is preparing a completely separate, dedicated pasture just for Mama Aurora and baby Astro.

The reality of horse herd dynamics is intense and often brutal. Horses are strictly hierarchical animals, and they are not always kind to newcomers—especially a vulnerable young colt. Until Astro is much older, larger, and physically strong enough to hold his own, introducing him to the main herd is a literal life-or-death risk. A single defensive kick or territorial charge from an adult horse could be fatal.

To keep Astro completely safe while allowing Aurora to raise him without the high stress of herd politics, we need to build them their own secure 3-acre sanctuary within the sanctuary.

We are utilizing heavy-duty wood posts paired with 16-foot steel continuous fencing—the absolute gold standard for equine safety and lifetime durability against the rugged Montana elements. To safely enclose this separate pasture, we need to line roughly 1,450 linear feet of land, which requires exactly 90 sections of 16-foot fencing.

By purchasing a $150 "Fence Section," you are directly buying one 16-foot span of wood posts and continuous steel panels. Your contribution physically builds the protective barrier that will keep Astro alive and thriving while he grows.

What It Generates: 16 physical feet of lifetime, predator-safe, and herd-segregated border fencing in Montana.

How It Works: This is a direct, symbolic infrastructure donation product. No physical item will be shipped to you. 100% of these funds are restricted entirely to our heavy construction and fencing materials account for the Montana relocation.
