Creative Hands, Wild Hearts, and Growing Roots
Invite your children to trade their tablets for the tools of imagination! Karma Kids Roots and Crafts is a monthly 3-hour journey into creativity and nature on our 250+ acre sanctuary. Each month features a brand-new project, ensuring that our "frequent flier" families always have something fresh to discover.
The Day’s Adventure:
Crafting with Purpose (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
We provide all the materials for nature-inspired art projects. To ensure every child has a great experience, we offer tiered craft levels based on our monthly RSVPs—so whether your child is a toddler or a teen, they’ll have a project that challenges and delights them.
Connection for Parents: While the kids are immersed in their "Roots and Crafts," this is a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect, share stories, and meet like-minded neighbors from the Helena and Great Falls communities.
Fuel for the Journey: After the crafting session, we’ll provide a selection of kid-friendly snacks and drinks to keep everyone energized.
Meet the Herd (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM): The highlight of the day! After creating, the kids will head out for a guided meet-and-greet with our resident horses. It’s a chance for them to learn about Equine Sovereignty and the gentle bond between humans and animals.
A Note for Families
This is a family-friendly event with no age limitations—we believe you’re never too young (or too old) to learn about stewardship. In keeping with our Standard of Silence, we encourage a phone-free environment so you can truly enjoy this time together under the big sky of Montana.
